2007 Honda CBR 1000 RR
The 2007 Repsol Edition Honda CBR 1000RR certainly has enough punch to drop any sport bike enthusiast to their trembling knees in desire. The MotoGP inspired package combines liter bike sex appeal with Honda's unfailing performance and will only set you back a mere $500 more with a base MSRP of $11,499. Whether your appetite is for the track or the street, the new 1000RR will not disappoint with 151 hp to the wheel stock and 388 lb dry weight. You'll find agility and precision combined with Honda's famously smooth power delivery and understand why people are holding the 1000RR to be the "best bike for the masses."
Though there are mixed emotions on the undertail exhaust leaving their riders' rear ends much too toasty and smelling of carbon it makes for a sleek appearance. With all the changes and refinements made since its early predecessor, the 900RR from 15 years ago, some of the best are the refined throttle response and electronic steering damper, eliminating nasty head shake on hard accels. Maybe in 2008 we'll see a slipper clutch and Michelin tires to match the decals added to the package.
SPECIFICATIONS *Engine Type 998cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder |
